Found this article for a game of the week match up in 2008. It brought back memories of a pretty good program a few years ago. The Novato Hornets who played Valley Christian, Valley Christian ended up winning the game 22-13. VC had a young RB in Cameron Marshall who ended up playing at AZ State that lead to the NFL and is still playing in the Canadian league.

Older brother to Byron Marshall, right? It’s been a while and I forget. Too lazy to research it right now.

The Marshall brothers were unreal. Yeah it was Byron and Cameron. And Novato had a good run back in the day.

Goes to show right staff can elevate a program and a change in direction can bring it back down.

Yes he had a program where everyone bought in (Players, coaches admin and parents) and it showed. A few asshole parents is all it takes to crumble that.
