Louisville beats UNC led by Mariya Moore

NorCal Future,

I don't like to separate so call great players. But I will say Mariya Moore may be the best all around player to come out of the Bay Area. That includes the Paris sisters, Jayne Appel, and others who have went on to the WNBA.

If I expand just outside of the Bay Area, I also like Chelsea Gray formally of SMS.

Obviously, this is just a compliment and an opinion, far from a slight or knock on any other good and/or so call great players.

It's nice to see so many Bay area freshman starting and doing well in college. Gabby Green and Mikayla Cowling seem to be making an early impact as well. Feel free to chime in on the other good and great players I have not mentioned. Congrats to Northern California basketball and women's basketball game improvement overall.

And I take my hat off to coaches that are not afraid to play and/or start freshman players. I recall a few years back when a Cal kid name Kacie Morris was not getting playing time. She was a very capable player. She ended up transferring out most likely because she wanted to play, and should have played in my opinion.

Congrats to Mariya Moore !

Congratulations to Mariya Moore for a great game. Everybody knew she would be make a big impact at the college level because she is a very physical player what a player needs at the next level. She is doing this on the number 9 ranking team that impress in its own right. Good luck in March Madness !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too bad she's overrated according to many on this website.....

who doesn't remember the "she cant dribble with her left hand" mumbo jumbo junk from last year?....lol

Glad to see my favorite HS girls player Ive ever watched getting it done in college. :)

......and if her sister at Salesian can be like her look out for Salesian. They have an excellent coach who will be able to squeeze every bit off talent out of that team.
