We took a really close look at Sierra Canyon's schedule, and it was much more difficult, game in and game out, than it first appeared. If Sierra Canyon wins out -- including winning the Open -- then they're in the conversation for No. 1 in the nation.

Ahhhhh...I will take the winner of the Bishop Mcnamara vs St Johns three part series as the national champion ....

Africentric....Clay at what point do you drop a school from the rankings because they are doing a poor academic job....

Am I reading this right only 3% of the students take the SAT....sounds really strange

If a school meets the academic qualifications of its state association, then MaxPreps has no qualifications -- nor right -- to make any kind of judgment.

You might have noticed the phrase "in the conversation". I think it would be fair to say that if either St. John's or Bishop McNamara takes two out of three from the other and wins the rest of its games, then that team will be No. 1.
