The discrepancy in officiating typically hurts WCAL teams come Sectional and Regionals as the teams are called for fouls usually not called during league play. I wouldn’t mind this just as long as the refs state beforehand when the team captains meet before tipoff that they will be calling a tight game.I really enjoy how the refs who do WCAL
League play allow players to play thru some contact that League is officiated as a top League should it's a big boy League and it's officiated as such I cannot say the same
For the EBAL or DFAL League play as many quality teams and players that are in those Leagues you leave alot of those games talking about officials I get the players and coaches have to adjust to how a game is being officiated and most coaches just want to know are you going to let us play or call
It tight not one way for part of the game then something different as the game
goes on.
tell your players to stay on their feet. That's a solid list. IMO Franklin and Sheldon are not making a d1 playoff run but between the other 5 it is pretty wide open. MC doesn't have a real dominant team like they usually do but I wouldn't be surprised if they found a way to get another blue banner.I've been watching Gavin Sykes since he was ballin' for the yellowjackets out of sac. Just a stud. With him and a few other pieces you always have a chance. @kiddman32 , did you have a red jacket on ? I think I caught you on the live feed a few times.
So do now go.....
1. Modesto Christian
2. Lincoln
3. Monterey Trail
4. Folsom
5. Inderkum
6. Franklin
7. Sheldon
Folsom has a win over Lincoln and there win over Mater Dei looks especially juicy considering MD just beat SJB.
Honestly, I think you have a year where any of those teams can beat anybody on any given night.
Agreed. I would really look at the MT/Folsom tape if you want to learn how to bother Folsom. They did a great job of using there physicality. Folsom gets hot and they can play with anybody. I don't think there is a team that shoots the ball as well from behind 3 and all there guys can do it. Heck the 6"9 kid will hurt you from there. But MC has a history of peaking at the right time. Looking like they could be in for another run....That's a solid list. IMO Franklin and Sheldon are not making a d1 playoff run but between the other 5 it is pretty wide open. got a tech for making a dunk?speaking about referees. The biggest travesty of the night was in the Vanden Lincoln game. Vanden lead pretty much the entirety of the game by as much as 10 . With about a minute ago Vanden big caught a lob to go up three . Ref called a technical foul. Giving the big his fifth foul. He controlled the paint the whole night. Two Ft and and a bucket turned a three point deficit into a one point lead for Lincoln. That call basically decided the game. Even though Vanden guard race down and got an and one to take back the lead with five seconds. Anthony More hit a three at the buzzer for the one point win for Lincoln.
ExactlyNot a tech for a dunk, a tech for (allegedly) hanging on the rim. I didn't see it...
