Hell of a game in Kentfield today, Moreau jumped out to a 13-0 lead in 1st only to see Marin score 17 unanswered to take 17-13 lead at half. Marin scored early on long QB run 1st play but Moreau battled back with safety and touchdown to cut lead to 24-21. Marin wins 31-27, good game. Both Moreau and Fortuna showed they belong on field with CN and MC. D4 division was most competitive.

Lots of penalties and sloppy play, but Good to see Moreau play so well, definitely a program on the rise long term
WOW!!! I agree MC415, extremely sloppy play... from both sides. I was very shocked to see Marin Catholic play the way they did. Moreau should have won that game!! It was like they forgot they had Booda in the backfield in the 2nd quarter, barely used him at all. It was obvious that Marin Catholic had a difficult time stopping him, yet he barley touched the ball in the 2nd quarter. Moreau also missed 3 extra point tries and the qb really struggled. Marin Catholic better show up next Saturday night against CN or it will be over for them.

Interesting to note Moreau out gained Marin 391 to 233. Marin hit some big plays but did not effectively move the ball. Championship should be a good one....MC wins 35-27

HSfan82, I'm on a big execution hype. The teams that execute like the coaches envision make it to the title games. Moreau is a very athletic and talented team but there were allot of plays that they attempted to run that probably looked nothing like the coaches implemented. Athleticism and talent can only get a team so far. Which was the case of Moreau IMO. Not to put it all on the kids because there were stretches in the game where the play calling was questionable. Talent wise Moreau is up there the best in Nor Cal regardless of size or division. They just need to put it all together.

Great game, but sloppy off and on with both teams. I thought Moreau would be able to break some bigger plays, but MC showed they have some speed. Ison is the real deal. MC hurt themselves with few mental errors and did not execute well like I have seen in other games. Moreau gains some respect from this game. MC vs CN should be a good one. MC needs to shake the rust from this game and move on. Good wake up call for MC. The finals should be a great matchup.
