MLK Classic at DLS... or St. Mary's???

1:37 left. O’Dowd fouled, makes 1 of 2…. 58-51. Dragons press hard, but only manage a foul on #5…. He sinks both. 60-51. And #5 gets a steal, calls a time out! University is up 60-51 with the ball, 1:18 left. Quite a comeback…. Wehn I walked in, it looked like a total mismatch in favor of the Dragons.
So, now we have my fabulous Campolindo Cougars vs. Valley Christian.
VC comes of an upset of Serra the other night, the first time they had beaten the Padres since the peach basket days, or something like that…
Of course, anyone who looks at my posts knows what the Cougars have been doing…. Haven’t lost to a California team since Feb. 26, 2020.

Another Cougs stop.. Cade drives the edge of the lane, is hacked. FT’s split, 6-2. 5:15 left.
Aidan from the corner…. BAM!! 9-2.

Hard to believe VC just beat Serra, but then Campo did a number on them as well, and Campo is finally back to full strength now.
DLS won the other game 65-54 vs. Capital Christian to snap their 3 game losing streak, heading into their league battle with Dublin on Wednesday.
Just took a look at the stream; it looks like the Spartans have everyone.
