Thought Bubble: The bottom six teams saw a big shuffle as Campolindo posted an impressive win at Monte Vista while Amador Valley stumbled against crosstown rival Foothill-Pleasanton. Windsor has also won two in a row since going winless in its first two games.

1. Pleasant Valley (2-2)
2. Chico (4-1)
3. Foothill-Palo Cedro (2-2)
4. Enterprise (4-1)
5. Orland (3-1)

Thought Bubble: It was a tough out of section week for the Northern Section with Chico falling to West Park, Pleasant Valley losing at Central Catholic and Enterprise taking a loss at undefeated Redwood. Foothill did shutout Fortuna 42-0 in giving them their first loss.

Oakland

1. McClymonds (2-1)
2. Oakland Tech (1-2)
3. Castlemont (1-3)

Thought Bubble: Castlemont’s three losses have come by a combined 21 points to undefeated St. Patrick-St. Vincent, 2-3 Bishop O’Dowd and one loss Mt. Diablo. Undefeated Oakland faces its toughest test to date against undefeated Atascadero.

1. Lincoln-San Francisco (1-3)
2. Balboa (1-3)
3. Lowell (1-2)

Thought Bubble: The AAA starts this week as Lincoln travels to Lowell in a matchup of the top contenders for the league title. Galileo and Washington, which play on Saturday, have both lost to Oakland.
