Great job FBAddict on smokin' this year's Pic'Em.....
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. We met at the DLS-Folsom game and he is definitely bigger and better looking in real life than he sounds in his posts.....Congratulations Primo and to all the other keyboard competitiors who add another dimension to Friday (and Saturday) Night lights.And Thanks to the Streaky One for taking the time to put this together.
It was my first year participating and even though I missed submitting a couple Pic'Ems I proved even a blind squirrel can occasionally find his nuts.

I had a lot of fun playing my first year. I definitely increased my knowledge of norcal football as a result of playing the game. I think it showed up in my weekly pickems score. I went front a 6 point week one, to consistently being in the top 5 or 6 the last few weeks. I guess you can say im primed and ready for the playoffs. A big congrats to our winner and all the participants! Also a big shot out to streak!

The Almond Bowl between Chico and PV is always a great game. This was the first year its been played at Chico HS as the games in the past were played at Chico St.

@Cal14 - I think mojo from attending the Salinas game on the last night of the pick'em rubbed off on the final and crucial pick'em week. LOL Just kidding. I know you will be back next year if its on and I'm pretty bullish on Salinas coming back in the playoffs. Salinas v. Aptos will be a really good game this week. Aptos better get it's pass defense ready because they were torched although Salinas better figure out how to stop the dive and read that Mariner deception by Friday.
Thanks again Streak...another challenging year! Off to the playoffs we go...What's the odds of Liberty playing and upsetting DLS in the NCS championship? Will Folsom even be tested in the SJS D1 playoffs? Will Carmel go undefeated and not opt up to CCS D3 Open playoff? Who wins against Serra and St Francis this coming week? Will Serra be a factor in the playoffs? Many questions to answer and games to be played. Good luck everyone.

I was just looking at the stats on my profile to figure out when I joined this board and its over 17 years...and over 10,000 posts which translates into approximately 1 1/2 days of time posting on this board (assuming 15 seconds a post) and not counting reading it and the articles. Time flies.
Whoa....that goes back quite a few years. Was that before pads and during the leather helmet era?? Bet your computer filled the whole desk top back then.

Thanks. Was actually on predecessor board before here and CalHiSports ... Cal14 as well probably before although I am a few years older and probably a couple others on this board...and yes....electronics looked like the old USS enterprise era.
Likewise - I spent most of my time at the old BA Sports Focus, the old Monterey Bay/Santa Cruz board (it moved sites a lot) and CalHiSports when it was housed at SouthernCaliforniaPreps.com. At the time NorCalPreps.com was sort of a football afterthought. I started to engage here around the 2001 football season.
