Streak One - If finding competitive games becomes too difficult/time consuming you might want to consider going back to predicted scores and having posters pick as to the "over/under" - just a thought..

I wasn’t sure Inderkum would be challenged enough, but I did look at it. Maybe I’m not giving Antelope enough credit

I don’t see finding games as an issue. Just have noticed a bigger gap forming.

Having some different questions is interesting. Will try it out during playoff time :)

From an impartial “observer”, it’s not like all the games this season have been no brainers. Quite the opposite. Streak has done a fantastic job at selecting intriguing matchups, and it seems like every week there have been a lot of “surprises”.

ob-22... you are so kind to us keyboard clairvoyants.

Guess I could describe my accumulation of useless MegaPick Cal Lotto tickets as simply... financial curveballs and sliders thrown at me by the computer at the local Fluffy Dream Dounut & Gas Station...

Modesto Christian @ Hilmar Straw Poll 10/12/2018, 7:30PM
20 confidence votes, 20 score predictions
Modesto Christian Win: 17 votes; average confidence 4.1
Hilmar Win: 3 votes; average confidence 3.0

Sum average score prediction:
Modesto Christian 27 ~ Hilmar 22

This week's GOTW game set a new record of the closest confidence level. Pickers of Modesto Christian had an average of 4.1 confidence level while Hilmar had an average of 3.0 picker confidence level. Although most pickers chose MC, nether confidence level was very high. In fact, this game also set a new record of the lowest total confidence level of 3.9. Either this game was considered a difficult game to pick a winner or many of the other games were much easier to pick.

Oddly, every person picking a Hilmar win predicted the exact same score of 28-27 including my pick. I didn't look back at at any other picker's Hilmar score prediction and the other pickers were early in the posting timing. I wonder what prompted all of us to derive the same score. Hmm, truly odd.

This is the second week NorCalHSFan hasn't submitted a pick. Not too long ago, he was ranked number one with strong picks every week. Hope everything is OK.

Dang! Forgot to get my picks in, too. I’m going to be out of the country the next couple of weeks. My pickem season is over!

4 of 8 weeks now my top #10 pick has gone down in flames, the latest Serra being run-over [literally] by Valley Christian by 37-6. If my top guesses are routinely wrong then I will go with the complete opposite and reverse my 10 picks from highest to lowest [strategy of one George Costanza..]

I could hardly do any worse, right?
