Doesn't make any sense to me. I don't see how Amador Valley is a 10 seed and Logan is a 7. Both are too low and now one will be home after the first round. AV beat DLS and Dublin last week and Logan is 20-3 in its last 23 games (have avenged two of the three losses too). The other loss was to top seed CVC.

Every team ranked below Menlo (who I have seen and is a nice team) with the exception of maybe 1 or 2 would beat them, without a doubt.

I feel like I have my talking points dialed in on this one, let me help explain it to you!

Dublin lost ZERO and DLS lost two games in league before the tournament. Amador valley lost SIX. There's your answer. AV went 1-2 vs. Dublin, 1-1 vs. DLS, 0-1 vs. Monte Vista, 0-1 vs. Dougherty Valley, and had a bad loss to Granada. Of the seven league games they won, SIX of them were against non playoff teams...... 10 seed seems like a relatively fair place for a team that severely under-performed during league and then got hot the last week of the season. They had the 5th best record in EBAL league play behind Dublin, DLS, Monte Vista, and Dougherty Valley. Logan is the team that got jobbed in this whole deal. If AV doesn't want 10 seeds in the future, don't lose SIX league games. Ranking them 19th in Norcal is incredibly generous for a team that got hot the last week of the season. I expect Coach Costello to provide a heat check this Friday night!

Fair enough. I would counter that recent results can be valued more than early season results. I understand Amador's resume, but I think their late run needs to be rewarded
