NCS Open should be 8 teams

The NCS should expand the Open to 8 teams and play pool play like the CCS does.

The NCS has 25 slots for the Norcals...

It should be:

8 Open (4 games guaranteed for every team in sections)

D1. 3
D2. 3
D3. 3
D4. 3
D5. 3
D6. 2

There's your 25 spots

D6 never fills out the bracket. 10 teams this year and 4 go? Nope. They shouldn't get 4 teams moving on.

With 8 Open getting automatic bids it guarantees our best teams move on to Norcals. Just my opinion.

3 publics. 5 privates.

Same rules/MP rankings seeding just tweek the OPEN and D6.

I couldn't agree more with going with a 8 team open for NCS. The talent gap between the top 8 and the rest of the section is so huge that having the goal having competitive will not be accomplished if you just have 6 in the open going forward..

I love the concept but would not have put Piedmont/BOD and CLet/SRV in the same pools. Committee back room magic would have to have happened.
