Other teams are lucky LuHi isn't coming. They smoked Etiwanda in the Iolani championship. The final margin was 8, but it wasn't nearly that close. LuHi led by 20 with a couple minutes to go, and that was largely without all-american Savvy Swords who tweaked something early in the second half and did not return. LuHi shredded Etiwanda's vaunted press and again hit more then 50% from distance.

Can't speak to the Frankensteinian process used to put this squad together, but the result is definitely a monster.

Is Etiwanda in trouble because the played
this team? Some of the teams in the Clare
Division are not real HS teams? Are they?

LuHi is a New York high school that has an actual campus and is part of the New York playoff system.

The Clare Droesch Division -- commonly referred to as the "Bandit Division" -- is a bunch of prep schools focused on getting their players scholarships by making athletics the focal point of the school. Sometimes there is no school at all, just on-line courses.

A non-CIF team like Prolific Prep could play in the Clare.
