I know in the grand scheme of things, high school football isn't that important compared to where the world stands today. But these kids are going to be REALLY GOOD this season, if there is one. Let's hope that things improve so that high school football, and all the other small pleasures of life, can come back.

They definitely seem ready for another run if we get a season this year.

That's great to hear. I look forward to reading it. Ewing is a serious, thoughtful, and dedicated mentor to the players and students at MTHS, and to all the Jr. Mustangs, as well. In an era when so many coaches and programs want the quick fix of recruiting or the flashy new offensive scheme of the day, the coaches like Ewing who build programs and mentor young people with time tested values have a very solid, respected, and deserved place in high school sports. There are a lot of quality coaches like that in so many sports. It's nice to see them get recognition.
