Slow starting game, but Oak Ridge gained control with a 12-0 run in the first quarter.

Teagan Brown controlled the action in finishing with a game high 31 points. She added six steals and a handful of rebounds and assists. Ella Ray gave a good inside presence with 13 points.

Julia Riley led Granite Bay with 17 points.

Oak Ridge will host Del Oro on Friday.

Brown is so much more athletic than anybody on the court nightly. Her speed and motor create nightmare. Matchups.

Big Win for Whitney in the SFL as well. What a league

What happens if Vista and CB split those two games? And same with Laguna and McClatchy say Laguna wins?

Curious if Del Oro has been missing players. Took a 20 point loss to Folsom, close win over St Francis Sac and then lost to Whitney. Just seems to have been a drop in their play

Each League has their own tie-breaker rules.

Sierra Foothill League:
The following procedure shall be used to break ties in the order listed. 1. Head to head competition involving league contests only. 2. Greatest number of wins within the tie. 3. Greatest number of wins above the tie. 4. Greatest number of wins versus the highest placed team above the tie. 5. Greatest number of wins below the tie starting with the next placed team below the tie and moving downward. 6. If a tie still exists, then there will be a coin flip conducted by the League President/Commissioner in the presence of representatives from the schools involved.

Metro League:
TIEBREAKING PROCEDURE In case of a tie for league representation in post-season playoffs, seeding/qualification will be determined by: 1. Head to head competition during the league schedule 2. Greatest number of wins within the tie 3. Greatest number of wins above the tie 4. Greatest number of wins versus the highest placed team(s) above the tie 5. Greatest number of wins below the tie starting with the next placed team 6. Coin toss

I still like Clay’s final tiebreaker - a free throw contest between the coaches.

Got but in two of those leagues, both teams are undefeated so their record against the #3 4 5 and 6 etc will be the same. So if I understand correctly if both matchups split it will go to a coin toss? Can I get some insight on what will happen if these teams split or am I asking to much? It is ok if I am was just wondering.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe you have to include their overall wins, not just league wins in the tie-breaker rules. This would definitely break most ties.

Not saying your wrong but that would make zero sense. If that’s true I hope that changes

Two Team Tie
d. "the higher winning percentage will prevail."
e. "win - loss of all common non-league opponents."
f. "non-league record"
g. "coin toss"

Also, specifically regarding Laguna Creek and McClatchy. It won't really matter because Laguna Creek is Division 2 in the SJS. McClatchy is in Division 1 in the SJS. So if Laguna Creek ties McClatchy, they are Co-Metro League Champions, both are in the SJS section playoffs in different divisions. Top 3 teams in "most" SJS leagues play in the SJS playoffs. Sierra Foothill League and Delta League get top 4 teams in the SJS playoffs.

Within the SJS, Folsom and Oak Ridge are in Division 1. Vista del Lago and Christian Brothers are in Division 2. Antelope is in Division 2 also, but in a different league. Moreover, the Sac-Joaquin Section playoffs have NO OPEN division.

Folsom 41
Whitney 4
Half

Hopefully the bench and seniors get to play last half for Folsom. Pretty ugly

Folsom took off gas in second.
Ended up winning by 40 or so.
That’s a group of kids who really plays the game unselfishly. Rawlings is going to be very good.
