Piedmont for the 2016 season will have six home games, also, the Highlanders move from the Shoreline league to the Foothill League, while Encinal left the Foothill League for the shoreline league...The Foothill League will be very competitive with Berkeely,Castro Valley,Tennyson,San Leandro,Piedmont and Bishop O'Dowd...Teams that are question marks are Castro Valley and Berkeley while the balance will challenge each other.
The highlanders have QB Jacob Prager at 6-2 and 190 to lead the team and will be backed up with a big line, last season Piedmont made the playoffs and won game #1 31-6 over Del Norte but went down 36-7 to Fortuna 36-7 in the second playoff. For the 2016 season, the JV's produced a 5-5 team, so some help will take place, but Piedmont will be tough.
The Schedule
8-26.....Justin-Siena Home 7 P.M.
9-02......Balboa (SF) Home 7 P.M.
9-09......Moreau Catholic Home 7 P.M.
9-17......Salesian Sat. afternoon Away 7 P.M.
9-23......Encinal Away 7 P.M.
9-30......Bye
10-07....Bishop O'Dowd home 7 p.M.
10-14....Berkeley Away 7 P.M.
10-21....Castro Valley Away 7 P.M.
10-28....San Leandro Home 7 P.M.
11-04....Tennyson Home 7 P.M.
The preseason schedule shows Justin-Siena and Moreau Catholic and maybe Salesian as real tests, but when league play comes around, it doesn't get any easier as Bishop O'Dowd, San Leandro and Tennyson pose real threats...

Piedmont will be good and is coming off 2 good seasons. They are doing some good things out there. They seem to play Sienna tough so thats a toss up game, they will want revenge for whooping Moreau put on them last yea but I dont thin they can win that one, Other than that San Leandro will be tough game but I can see them at 7-3.
