Pinewood beats Priory 57-50

Good back and forth game that Pinewood gained control of in the final 3 minutes behind a big close from Jolyn Ding

I watched on NFHS. It was a very entertaining game. Kuelker was hot and Ding came alive in the fourth quarter. But Priory played great on both sides of the ball. They were a totally different team than the last time against Pinewood and I thought they were gonna pull it off. I believe they led at the end of each quarter. It was a one possession game in the final minutes but a costly turnover by Priory changed all the momentum and they couldn’t recover. But my hats off to Priory. The turnaround from the last meeting is quite remarkable. This is not a team we want to see again this year.

I saw PW against Clovis West and was impressed. They did not get rattled against the press. They move the ball extremely well and have several shooters. Looking forward to watching them again in states.

I will add to this that the players who are not shooters know who the shooters are and are very unselfish.
