An interview Joe Namath did with Howard Stern talking about a treatment he used to help his brain. He suffered 5 concussions in his career, started this treatment about 30 something years after he retired. Since high school football participation in the bay area is declining, I hope this can be shared with high school coaches, athletic directors, admins, players and their families in hopes that it will lower their fears about CTE. The treatment is Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy which he did a total of 120 sessions, and he took a SPECT scan of his brain. I just want high school football to survive and thrive, especially for those struggling programs.
