Don't agree with Mixon smacking the girl in her face but I'm sure she won't ever spit in someone else's face or call them the "N" word. Both parties were at fault and learned a very valuable lesson. No doubt he was knocked out - kinda like the female student he decked with a haymaker last year and broke her face up - he was lucky he was wearing a helmet.....she wasn't.

Like I said, both parties were at fault but hopefully they'll both learn from their childish mistakes. I'm quite sure Mixon has learned his lesson but not sure about the girl with a troubling past. And that dumb reporter doesn't no what Mixon has learned. If you believe that guy you are a very shallow minded person. Joe told them right. He is only there to answer football questions. Screw the media all they want is a "gotcha" moment so they can make money and ruin another persons life.So I guess that is the line drawn in the sand for a man to break a woman's jaw in four places? Right hook to the jaw is the answer?
First of all, if a white person calls a black person the "N" word that is not acceptable. I don't know what planet you live on but it sure isn't earth. Would you go into East Oakland or North Richmond and call them brotha's the "N" word not knowing who they are? Stop playing dumb. You'll be calling someone to help you. Secondly, some people believe spitting vile saliva on a person is the worse thing you could ever do to a person. I'm going to be totally honest with ya. If a chick I don't know from a can of paint spits in my face, I cannot tell you what I would do. And that's being totally honest. That is just down right sickening. Would love to meet this girl parents if she has any.First off it wasn't a smack it was a punch! Second dropping the "N" word has become acceptable with today's generation and even if it wasn't, you still don't punch women! Third there is no excuse for punching a women! Even if she spits in your face, sleeps with you buddy, or burns dinner! Just don't do it. Mixon seems to have some real issues as evident by the interview given, hopefully he grows up.

larry, I think you meant Clemson sir...He was jawing on every down with Bama until he got his clock rung.
IP, can you post the video of this encounter that you saw? I haven't seen a video of the whole incident. Didn't say he was fearful of a "drunk chick" and I said they both have blame here not just Mixon. There's reports that support my opinion on that. I don't know and don't care if Mixon is a punk, pussy or just simply gay but I know he's a stud on the gridiron. I know who I am and I'm not a drunk looking for sympathy after I start shit with someone I don't know. This chick was filthy drunk. All jokes aside I'm happy the chick is still breathing for her relatives sake. She's a very lucky drunk because like I said before, there are dudes out there that would have taken her life for what she did to Mr. Mixon. I know you want to call me a punk. Go ahead I've been called worse things than that face to face with peeps I didn't know. "Bitch ass "N" comes to mind." So calling me a border line punk doesn't faze me bruh. You have to come a lot harder than that bruh because I'm numb to the street slango. It's been water downed since the 80's. Same ole diss words since the 60's. I was born in the 60's so you get my drift?@Caltrojan4life - Again video doesn't support Joe's account of the event. And claiming to be fearful of a women half your size kind of makes your boy seem like a pussy doesn't it? The fact he decked her proves he is. Again you can support his story for decking the women and putting all the blame on her and that's fine. But really that just paints a picture of who you are not her. Simple fact is Mixon is a punk plain and simple and your not far behind for defending his actions.
Oops yeah. Thx.larry, I think you meant Clemson sir...
You grown when you are smart enough to out live your expectancy date. Put it like this...most of the homies I grew up with or either died or in prison. I'm blessed not to be neither. Just being honest. Never said punching a female is acceptable but I did say the drunk girl and Mixon both share some blame on their altercation. Mixon one year suspension by Oklahoma was standard protocol. Tells me that the University supported Mixon if he's still in Norman. I call a spade a spade bruh. Yes I'm calling her a drunk because that's the facts which tells me she's just as bad as a crackhead. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck than it must be a duck. Well I just recently moved to the area of Georgia called Buckhead across from the famous Lenox Mall. Look it up (30625). That's a piece of who I am.@Trojan ~ so if you were born in the 60s I think you should have grown up by now. Again punching women is never acceptable. As for video I saw? I haven't seen any video going off reporters and statements by those that have seen the video. And by all accounts punch was unwarranted. If it was think he would have been suspended for a year? Calling her a drunk, instigator, etc.......doesn't justify the action no matter how much you wish it could. It's simply a reflection on who you are.
C'mon IP, do you really think Mixon would walk over to a drunk person he didn't know if they didn't slur a derogatory word his way? I know you smarter than this. Look I've been around a lot of folks that say things when there drunk that they wouldn't say if they were sober. One of the many off the wall things I've heard was the "N" word by someone I thought was cool but found out who they truly are instead.Oh and for what it's worth haven't seen one report that states women spit in his face or dropped the N word.
The important question from this thread: Is Buckhead as nice as Folsom Ca?You grown when you are smart enough to out live your expectancy date. And the answer to your question is....HELL YEAH!!!!The important question from this thread: Is Buckhead as nice as Folsom Ca?
First off you would do yourself a favor by taking your own advice with the age comment. Just an fyi, I know folks damn near 100 years old that use bruh and homie. Please don't tell anyone I told you about that. It might be illegal here in the states. And those old folks that use those terms or words are very educated and mature with very successful businesses. So maybe you should stop assuming things you have no knowledge about. Yeah the drunk chick is like a crackhead since she's out instigating dangerous situations when she's intoxicated. Same as a crackhead when their under the influence of narcotics. These folks get belligerent and violent toward others for no particular reason whatsoever.@Trojan - First off age is a number and not a sign of maturity. Second most men in their mid 40s or early 50s don't use terms like homie, bruh, etc.......and if they do I would suggest it's a sign they haven't grown up. Third you referring to the women as a "crack head" shows your either biased against her or plain ignorant. There is no evidence that suggest she is a crack head. Anyway a little research would benefit you here, not that it will change your mind but have a look.
lol yah crack head and ******, those two concepts carry the same weight. I understand if a conversation goes racial,
And that's the hypocritical part, isn't it. It's not okay to drop the N word in any situation- period! Saying its okay is about as stupid as condoning a guy hitting a crazy girl because she spat on you. Not sure what your parents taught you but that's not okay ever. This prevailing attitude is what is wrong with society. Civility and respect are missing.First of all, if a white person calls a black person the "N" word that is not acceptable. First of all, I can say the "N" word amongst my friends and family in an endearing way whenever I chose to. You'll never have a say in anything I do or don't do. You're not qualified in that field. Secondly, I pray that your parents were smart enough to teach you not to use that word...that would be a good thing. Lastly, I agree with you that the society in which we live in is totally screwed up. This stems from a certain group of people that believe they have special privileges over others and can get away with murder even when they're at fault. It's sad but certain people depend on the system we have in place to give them a pass when they assault other groups of people. For example, high profile killers from Florida George Zimmerman and Michael Dunn. Two thugs that depended on the system to allow them to get away with their despicable murders of two young children of God. And don't tell me that (pos) Zimmerman isn't a thug because his track record after he murdered the kid in Florida solidifies that he is just that. And that's the hypocritical part, isn't it. No, I'm just real. Most people can't deal with the real when it slaps them in the face. They'd rather put blame on a certain person but quick to hide or better yet give excuses for the one person that created the whole fiasco in the first place. I'm not the one to over look the beginning of things and that's what you have a major problem with. I'm that outspoken "house brother" that ain't 100% sympathetic to a drunk chick that provoked her own unfortunate situation.@ Trojan ~ Your the problem not the answer. FYI
That's your problem...you don't believe in giving a person a second chance because you've lived your life mistake free. You never did anything in your entire life that would call for a second chance. So since you're on the level of the all mighty God you should excuse yourself from the debate in play. Ray Rice gave a sincere apology for his actions in regards to his physical actions toward his wife. She's forgiven him and so should you and the rest of the world but perfect people like yourself can't allow folks like Rice a second chance in life. Do us all a favor and put yourself in Rice's shoes and say you don't deserve a second chance to show that you've learned from your mistake Mr. Perfect.Dont care about the reason it is never ok to put your hands on a woman. The self defense card is BS his life was in no danger. They both made bad decisions that night but Mixons decision was worse. He will be paying for his decision eventually. Defending a guy for hitting a woman is sickening as well. He could have easily walked away from the situation just as fast as he ran away after he decked her. I really would like for this video to be released to the public because this kid shouldnt get the privilege of playing in the NFL. Just look at Ray Rice.
