No doubt he was knocked out - kinda like the female student he decked with a haymaker last year and broke her face up - he was lucky he was wearing a helmet.....she wasn't.
Don't agree with Mixon smacking the girl in her face but I'm sure she won't ever spit in someone else's face or call them the "N" word. Both parties were at fault and learned a very valuable lesson.

First off it wasn't a smack it was a punch! Second dropping the "N" word has become acceptable with today's generation and even if it wasn't, you still don't punch women! Third there is no excuse for punching a women! Even if she spits in your face, sleeps with you buddy, or burns dinner! Just don't do it. Mixon seems to have some real issues as evident by the interview given, hopefully he grows up.
Like I said, both parties were at fault but hopefully they'll both learn from their childish mistakes. I'm quite sure Mixon has learned his lesson but not sure about the girl with a troubling past. And that dumb reporter doesn't no what Mixon has learned. If you believe that guy you are a very shallow minded person. Joe told them right. He is only there to answer football questions. Screw the media all they want is a "gotcha" moment so they can make money and ruin another persons life.

First of all, if a white person calls a black person the "N" word that is not acceptable. I don't know what planet you live on but it sure isn't earth. Would you go into East Oakland or North Richmond and call them brotha's the "N" word not knowing who they are? Stop playing dumb. You'll be calling someone to help you. I guarantee you Mixon was most likely dealing with the same type of chick as this one in the link below. Both are probably psychopathic, bipolar, half crazy and deranged maniacs as well as straight lunatic individuals. For short that means these chicks are 51/50 and should be behind bars. The fact he decked her proves he is. Again you can support his story for decking the women and putting all the blame on her and that's fine. IP, can you post the video of this encounter that you saw? I haven't seen a video of the whole incident. Didn't say he was fearful of a "drunk chick" and I said they both have blame here not just Mixon. There's reports that support my opinion on that. I haven't seen any video going off reporters and statements by those that have seen the video. And by all accounts punch was unwarranted. If it was think he would have been suspended for a year? First off you would do yourself a favor by taking your own advice with the age comment. Just an fyi, I know folks damn near 100 years old that use bruh and homie. Please don't tell anyone I told you about that. It might be illegal here in the states. And those old folks that use those terms or words are very educated and mature with very successful businesses. On Thursday, police showed surveillance video of the incident to members of the media and it appeared to completely contradict that account.
The encounter between Mixon and Amelia Rae Molitor took place outside a restaurant on July 21 and according to the members of the website Sooner Scoop, Mixon seemed to be the aggressor in the video. The tape does not have audio, but the incident was allegedly started when Mixon used a homosexual slur to one of Molitor’s friends.
Eddie Radesovic of the site recounted what he saw in the video:
Mixon begins to walk away and appears to say something to the male as he starts his exit out of frame. This is when Molitor initiates the physical contact with a two handed push. Mixon barely budges, clinching both fists by his side Mixon now flinches/lunges at her. This is when Molitor strikes Mixon with an open hand across the left side of his neck.
Neither the push or the slap are significant in the least bit. What made the viewing even more uncomfortable – perhaps more than I expected – is the difference in size between Mixon and Molitor.
Following the slap across the left side of his neck (she can barely reach his face), Mixon unloads a violent right handed hook. There’s really not a nice or clean way of saying it. Molitor immediately falls to the floor from the strike, hitting her face on the edge of the table in the process. Mixon immediately bolts out of frame.
The guy that was standing there is still in view and is now joined by two other girls. They help a very, very wobbly Molitor up off the ground. She is bleeding from her nose, refusing the help being offered.

lol yah crack head and ******, those two concepts carry the same weight. I understand if a conversation goes racial, and people are throwing all those special words around, then there are no rules. Crack head is ambiguous, with no connotation, the other word well, not so much.
Joe Mixon is a kid that made a mistake, the girl was just a kid and she made a mistake. I wasn't there and I work hard not to have opinions about things that don't affect me or I did not witness. From the report, she assaulted Mixon first. Both parties were wrong, and no one was right.
Woman are running a lean in campaign and the heart of the matter is we live in a world where people need to keep their hands to themselves, or be able to take a solid hook.
Joe needs to be scrutinized, he also needs advice. Kids learn, thats the great thing about kids. Rule number one when being assaulted by a woman you are wrong no matter what if you retaliate. Rule number two any woman that assaults a man is looking for an emotional response,it is a broken way of getting attention, they will take it any way they can get it even if it is a stiff hook, it is how some people interpret affection.
Here's the socially acceptable way to deal with Joe's situation for future whipper snappers. Rule number one walk away. If the person does not let you walk away and continues to put their hands on you grab them and hold them, tightly without anger, remain calm and just keep holding. You being calm prevents them from getting the emotional reaction they are looking for, it will only infuriate them further, and they will begin to struggle even harder to assault you, keep holding they will run out of steam eventually or just get madder and madder. The madder they get the more off balance they will get, Either way you can let them go(do not push), if they are calm, they will leave you alone, or give you their number and if they fall it is there own dam fault and they have no one to blame but themselves and they will still, probably give you their number.
Finally after you get that number you should throw it in the trash, not the kind of person you should associate with.

Secondly, I pray that your parents were smart enough to teach you not to use that word...that would be a good thing. Lastly, I agree with you that the society in which we live in is totally screwed up. This stems from a certain group of people that believe they have special privileges over others and can get away with murder even when they're at fault. It's sad but certain people depend on the system we have in place to give them a pass when they assault other groups of people. For example, high profile killers from Florida George Zimmerman and Michael Dunn. Two thugs that depended on the system to allow them to get away with their despicable murders of two young children of God. And don't tell me that (pos) Zimmerman isn't a thug because his track record after he murdered the kid in Florida solidifies that he is just that.

Let me tell you something, I've been on social media sites and it ain't pretty what a lot of folks say about a certain group of people even when they were done wrong for no reason. For instant, the church goers that were senselessly gun down by the Dylann Roof kid in South Carolina. I went on a social media site to pay respect to those family members of the deceased. It was so many negative post talking about they deserved what they got I had to leave the site before I put a bullet in my monitor. This is the stuff that certain groups of people have to deal with on a daily so I don't wanna hear about being sympathetic to a drunk chick that provoked her situation.

That's your problem...you don't believe in giving a person a second chance because you've lived your life mistake free. You never did anything in your entire life that would call for a second chance. So since you're on the level of the all mighty God you should excuse yourself from the debate in play. Ray Rice gave a sincere apology for his actions in regards to his physical actions toward his wife. She's forgiven him and so should you and the rest of the world but perfect people like yourself can't allow folks like Rice a second chance in life. Do us all a favor and put yourself in Rice's shoes and say you don't deserve a second chance to show that you've learned from your mistake Mr. Perfect.
