DO know anything about Ribet Academy...the SOcal Vine has a top 50 Socal
Teams and I don't even see them????
SMS is playing them on MLK day at their SHowcase????
Why don't the Socal guys even know who they are????

From the Socal vine....sounds like a mess

"Ribet Academy was supposed to be good with a bunch of transfers but apparently Ribet Academy decided not to pay their boys or girls basketball coaches so both coaching staffs quit about 3 weeks before the season."

Quitting three before the season is not cool, regardless of the pay dispute. Where does this leave the players?

Coaches ask for..."water in the gym, being able to use the air conditioner in the gym, medical supplies" in a text then gets fired....who are the administrators...

Sounds like a pretentious coaching staff if you ask me. Want water? Bring water. Air Conditioner in the gym? Not a country club. Medical Supplies? Couple band aids and some ice.

Life is about paying it forward and if you are quitting coaching jobs because of no water and lack of air conditioning then they are blessed to be rid of those soft coaches anyway.

Norman Dale did not have water, air-conditioning nor a medical supply kit. Fortunately the town doctor was able to stitch some kids up when things got crazy on the road but it did not stop Hickory from winning a state championship.

I am guessing the water, A/C, tape for ankles....we're examples of the treatment....
Then by way you don't get paid...I wish i could talk to the last coach...the ex-University of Tennessee player...I am going to try to contact her wherever she is

I found that she left TU after 3 seasons playing for Summitt ...neither Summitt or her would talk about what happened . ..
She transfered to UCLA....
So she did play at TU but quit before her
Senior year....
Sounds like a pattern....

Ribet lost it's first game to Mission Hills by 35....
sounds like SMS has a cupcake on MLK day...
with all the other good teams at the MLK event
sounds like SMS wants a blowout

George Quintero apparently was the man behind Ribet, and he runs Team Taurasi ... so if he were still there, maybe Team Taurasi would be there too -- which would have made for a good game.

St. Mary's is not playing Ribet. They bumped them entirely from the event due to the program falling apart.
