It is an early commitment for Winn, who had 53 catches for 648 yards and four touchdowns as a sophomore.
Ohio State, Georgia and LSU aren't looking for players who score 4 TD's in 12 games as a reclass and are barely 5'6, and if they are somebody is getting fired. If anybody thinks those offers are legit then I have some oceanfront property in Arizona for you.He had offers from Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, etc. and chose BC? Has that ever happened before?
he fooled you i see... aint no way he had those offers... maybe he got a letter or email from them asking for his details.. but when he replied and said he 5'6 they said.. nah we goodHe had offers from Ohio State, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, etc. and chose BC? Has that ever happened before?
I just didn’t want to accuse anyone of fabricating the truth. I also found it unlikely that Georgia would come out to the Bay Area to offer a kid that small. 247 took all the posts at face value, and put them on his profile.he fooled you i see... aint no way he had those offers... maybe he got a letter or email from them asking for his details.. but when he replied and said he 5'6 they said.. nah we good

He's listed at 5'10 on one publication, maybe BC didn't do the eyeball test 🤣 Not a bad strategy considering college coaches can't comment on players they are recruiting or not recruiting. Just throw out offers and a commitment and see what happens.it worked... it made boston college offer a scholarship real quick
Maybe some other schools/athletes "fake" their offers, but Riordan's head coach invites many colleges on campus to observe practices and talk to their student athletes. Maybe BC, Georgia, etc. attended other viewing periods.

It’s either that, or a kid that is 5’9” or 5’10” and weighs around 160, with mid-range production, has offers from every top program in the country.Extremely doubtful that Coach Adhir allows fake offers to be announced. His record for providing exposure and opportunities for his players to play at the next level (JC->D1) speaks for itself. There are some from other programs that have made these accusations in the past only to called out by Riordan's staff.

Goes both ways. Accusing someone has Fake offers. You have proof ? Pump the brakes. He just finished his sophomore season. There is a near zero chance he steps foot on the campus of BC as a student athlete. But whatever. Different times.
Fake news, fake offers, IG sensations
Ran a 4.3 and lived in Louisiana.Wait…didn’t 5’5 Trindon Holliday contribute for LSU?
Wait…didn’t 5’5 Trindon Holliday contribute for LSU?
Yes, and he also scored 26 touchdowns his junior year (would be soph year if he reclassed). I don't think he'd have any problem taking a game over against Los Gatos either, which an SEC type player should be able to do. Najee Harris, Brock Bowers that's who the SEC comes out here for.Wait…didn’t 5’5 Trindon Holliday contribute for LSU?
Very true. Look at Kyler Murray 5'2. lolEarl Boykins 5'5", Jose Altuve 5'6", The other Isaiah Thomas 5'9"... its not often but yes small guys can make it and be great.
Explain it like I'm a 3rd graderThese offers aren't fake but they may be non-committable. There's a difference.
Each school has a recruiting board where they stack rank kids they want in a position. If you are say the top 2 to 3 on their board for that position you probably have a committable offer meaning they accept your commitment and they assume the player is committed to go their. In this case they take that player off the board. Many offers are outside of the "top" guys but still are real. They are more like "we really like you and assuming we don't get our top guys we want you here". Problem is that's not figured out until much later like end of junior year so it's a bit of a risk to wait on that.you really want to go where you have a committable offer which means you're one of their top guys.Explain it like I'm a 3rd grader
Is there a website for those schools that show offers? If you think he just made up some offers and posted them you trippin. That didn't happen. So whatever you wanna tell yourselve cool, all I'm saying is he wasn't lying bout the offers.
