You mean they weren't given "the discount" and to live for free on campus? Ive seen that too except brothas coming from the Walnut Creek direction. Suckas. 😂😂😂I seen some kids today with Riordan athletics jackets on getting on bart in San leandro. Somaon kids. Yall just be recruiting from Africa and the east bay

Robinson righted his ship with Las Lomas and a State Title Game appearance with an unbelievable senior class with top chemistry. His SH years were riddled with selfish teammates and their families that led to departure of their last great boys coach Darrell Barbour.2014: SHC "Riordan is going close its doors unless they do something to raise money. and attract students."
2025: "Riordan attracts too many students from out of the Area."
Flashback to 2014 SHC - Nate Robinson - kid from Walnut Creek.
2006: Greene and Brown from Oakland.
Thank you @iamgearyblvd,Robinson righted his ship with Las Lomas and a State Title Game appearance with an unbelievable senior class with top chemistry. His SH years were riddled with selfish teammates and their families that led to departure of their last great boys coach Darrell Barbour.
Greene from Oakland. Jerry Brown Jr from St. Finn Barr in the city. Not disagreeing with you. SH gets less than a handful of superstar kids from out of the area. See Taylor Johns, see Alfred Hollins, see IImari Thomas. Nowhere even close to what Riordan has been doing. Guess what, money dont grow on trees and sooner than later that money is going to dry up, players and their families wont come unless you bend over for them.
I used to take BART from El Cerrito to the City and SHC kids and teachers were getting off at Civic Center station with me, while the Riordan students stayed on until Balboa Park.I seen some kids today with Riordan athletics jackets on getting on bart in San leandro. Somaon kids. Yall just be recruiting from Africa and the east bay
I have no idea what the fucccc you typed.@ankleassassin
Is the Hate for TheR from the “Ellis St Brain Trust” coming out so much you are now referring to Actual troupes or dog whistles?
From a Faith-Based programs scares me, but anything from the @Irish_Cheers, @iamgearyblvd , @HZWIZARD and add one more transplant @ankleassassin to that brain trust doesn’t surprise me.
It’s about Student/Athletes and their goals and ambitions, not the Brain Tryst of the “good olds days minds set”,…you want to go back too, and you know what that Is.😱😱😱

Your response doesn’t sound like you didn’t…SnapI have no idea what the fucccc you typed.
Ah Jim Jones Riordan finished number 1 in the Bay Area in 2002 and beat two future NBA players, one of them being Aaron Affalo and the other who played a good 7-8 years. And John Tofi had to guard a monster in Darius Sanders who was a football guy to Oregon and he did a hell of a job. So with all due respect you don’t have a ****ing clue what you’re talking about as always. Marquise was the NorCal Player of the year.I see the Ellis St Synaptic Brain Prowess has been unleash this AM,…and again I am amazed at the feebleness of thoughts.
But with all of the debate, it is not going to change the facts.
#This years run by TheR, is not only historic in nature, but unparalleled by only the program itself by the Isola Era. Being the best in California is a far cry over being the best in lower tiers in CA.
The missed opportunity during COVID to reach that goal and a failed attempt because of another’s teams distractions is not history TheR seeks or wants.
Greatness seeks Greatness and that Culture/Theme is: “In Curtin we Trust”. Or maybe “A Reardon Place” & Last but not least “By The offices of Kelly, Morris & Greene.
#ShouldWeREnjoyItThisMuch🏀🙏🏀🙏🏿
See my comment above, the state tournament is all cif money.Yeah, I get the revenue part of the situation. Which brings me to ask;Who pays for neutral site venues? Is it the CIF , or the local section that the games are being played in?Or perhaps the section of the host team?
Ankle if I recall didn’t you go to high school in So Cal.I have no idea what the fucccc you typed.
No, I'm from Kalispell, Montana.Ankle if I recall didn’t you go to high school in So Cal.
Well hey close enough to Ellis Street. No, I'm from Kalispell, Montana.
San Francisco ain't my type of hype. I stay outta that place.Well hey close enough to Ellis Street.
“Ellis St Brain Trust” is an attitude, the recruits are coming out this AM. May they be the Core, Transplants or New Recruits,..membership card is “TheR hate, Troupes/Dog Whistles and the (MAGA mindset) “make Riordan great again mentality” it is TIRED & OLD and Only spoken by Mad Men who wear sandwich signs stating “Gibberish on the Board”. TheR is great Now,…San Francisco ain't my type of hype. I stay outta that place.
Jim maybe one day you will get the ****ing fact that we all support Riordan, we just can’t stand your hyping up kids who haven’t won shit year after year in every sport. Did you see what ankle said. All this talk and it’s been since 2002. Hopefully they keep you as far away from the locker as possible in the forum cause you are the last guy that would teach kids to be humble. This has nothing to do with Riordan and what has happened. I mean you literally once again discredited the only state title team in the schools history by stating they played at lower levels. When you don’t know shit about the loaded lineup Centennial Compton had. Two NBA players, two other D1 guys, and one ended up an McDonald’s All American, PAC 10 player of the year and a first team all American. And the three time in a row state title team that they beat to get to the finals against Riordan Riordan lost state to that team in 2001. Ask Coach Curtin about guarding the USC Craven twins.“Ellis St Brain Trust” is an attitude, the recruits are coming out this AM. Most in NorCal are excited about the success of TheR and I join them as the best to represent the North.
I do feel an extreme sorrow at the others who can’t allow themselves to get on board
Just like posting from Cancun,…another reveal just occurred🧐🤪🧐🤪Well hey close enough to Ellis Street.
I think Burries can get his against anybody. The key will be to limiting the other 4 Roosevelt players on the court.Looking ahead to Saturday, likely the top key of the game is how much Rencher can limit 5-star McDonalds All-American Burries. If he can hold him to under 20, that would be huge. If Burries goes off for 30 or more, night night Riordan.
Two things can be equally true. Burries last year is not the Burries this year. Curtin can also throw Seals on Burries. Another key would be if Tofi can keep his hot streak going. His play vs. Salesian and vs DLS really shifted the game.Riordan played Roosevelt at the NorCal Tipoff last year and lost by 5 pts. Rencher, Tofi, Emeneke and Bush did not play in that game.
Two things can be equally true. Riordan last year is not Riordan this year. It appears the wrong defensive team showed up last night as the Crusaders turned it up a notch in the second half. Agree, Tofi is having a helluva State playoff run. Roosevelt relies on 3 scorers and no argument here that Burries is a beast. Rencher only had one field goal, yet won going away last night by double digits. Riordan bigs will also make it difficult on finishes to the basket. Shooting in an NBA arena and playing on a longer court are also factors. Depth is key because if any of Roosevelt's top 3 get in any foul trouble, could be problematic for the Mustangs. Two things can be equally true. Burries last year is not the Burries this year. That would put complete different blush or tenor on the game. I can only imagine the scout in film study by TheR coaching staff as far as adjustments. But I completely concur TheR of last year is nothing like TheR of this year, but as a true HS Prep enthusiast,..I have to apologize to you that you have to manplain to some.Riordan played Roosevelt at the NorCal Tipoff last year and lost by 5 pts. Rencher, Tofi, Emeneke and Bush did not play in that game.
Being the 3rd row coach here, but if Im Curtin my gameplan until it doesnt work is send a double on Burries as soon as he crosses half court to get the ball out of his hands and see if he is mature enough to let his other teammates take advantage of this strategy. If Burries has the "let me cook" mindset in the championship game and starts forcing things, that will play into Riordan's hands. Two things can be equally true. Riordan last year is not Riordan this year. It appears the wrong defensive team showed up last night as the Crusaders turned it up a notch in the second half. If you get the DirecTV channel 691 (Spectrum Sportsnet) or stream it on the DirecTV app, they will air the state title games.Anyone know what channel the game will be on xfinity.
Oh he is hands down state player of the year. Will be interesting to see where he goes.Congrats to Roosevelt! And congrats to the Crusaders on very good season. Tbh - I don't think any HS team in the Country could have beaten the Mustangs last night. They were poised and Brayden Burries shows why he should be CA's Mr. Basketball.
Is it Nov and the NorCal tip-off yet?
Well said.Congrats to Roosevelt! And congrats to the Crusaders on very good season. Tbh - I don't think any HS team in the Country could have beaten the Mustangs last night. They were poised and Brayden Burries shows why he should be CA's Mr. Basketball.

You misses shea cottonI've seen HS players like Riordan's Brett Crawford, Terrence Mullins and Marquise Kately. HOF'ers Gary Payton and Jason Kidd and NBA star Aaron Gordon play in HS. Brayden Burries is the best HS player I have ever seen in person. What a baller! He can do it all. Bright future for this kid!
+5,…Congrats to Roosevelt! And congrats to the Crusaders on very good season. Tbh - I don't think any HS team in the Country could have beaten the Mustangs last night. They were poised and Brayden Burries shows why he should be CA's Mr. Basketball.
