Nothing major to report.
Folsom continues to roll in league. Maybe.... and I'm sort of doubtful Jesuit can give them a game.
Last Night
Jesuit 59-Rocklin 55 - Good OT win by Mauraders as they improve to 4-0.
Folsom 64 DO 43 - Bulldogs cruised and improve to 15-2 overall and 4-0 in league.
OR 71 Whitney 61 - Edwards is back and OR isn't bad with him on the Floor. He dominated the smaller Wildcats. OR evens league up at 2-2 and is at Jesuit on Friday night. Whitney is young and should be pretty solid next year.
GR 86 Davis 42 What can you say about Davis hs sports? Not much.

Yeah Folsom is very solid. Totally agree. If they shoot it well they are very dangerous. They had 19 3's against Mater Dei. That is nuts.
Whitney plays in D2 so they will be solid in playoffs.
Rocklin is down this year. Losing those guards hurt them.

I wouldn't say Rocklin is down this year. They have actually played a real schedule and the results are showing. If they played this schedule last year I don't think their records would be much different.

I watched both teams several times.
They lost Rice, Marasco, and Eston from 2023-24 team. Tough to replace.
They may have had a softer preseason last year but still showed solid in playoffs.
Beat Sheldon and lost a close game to a very good Lincoln Team in SJS.
This year besides the big kid and returning guard not much else.

You might be right. But Andrew’s was supposed to be dude and Ellis an impact transfer but it doesn’t look like he is doing much.

And DO was very good last year with Pinnick and a couple other kids. They have fallen off quite a bit but you don't replace an athlete like him. Be interesting to see how Folsom does in playoffs. They haven't had a long run in awhile.

Friday night actions.
Jesuit 62 Oak Ridge 56 - I was at this one and solid performance by both teams. Really well-played game to be honest. Kaleb Edwards the 4 star Bama signee was really good for OR. I'm sure he had 20+ and 10+ boards. Like I said before, with him OR isn't a bad team. When he was gone last week it was a diff story. Jesuit has no real stars this year but Asher Schroeder is taking the lead as their go to. Big red is now 5-0 in league going into big game next vs 5-0 Folsom. And their Fresh Maison Phillips played a nice game off the bench.

Folsom 77 Whitney 39 - Folsom continues to roll. I would be surprised if Jesuit can stay within single digits.

Davis 48 DO 44- Big Blue ! Davis with 1st league win.


Didn't hear about Rocklin vs GB but I would be surprised if GB won.

Some good games last night.
Folsom 65 Jesuit 58 - Marauders battled and played Folsom about as good as they could. Not one of the most talented Mauder teams but as a unit they are pretty dialed in. Def both teams are clear #1 and #2 in SFL. Folsom got a good game from Parks Weaver (Fr). They needed his shooting because some of the other kids had off nights. Folsom is at Rival OR on Friday. On paper Folsom wins by 15+ but OR always plays Folsom tough at home and Edwards will be a problem for Folsom.
Rocklin killed Davis by 30 or so and remains on the heels of Jesuit at 4-2 in league.
OR beat DO last night handily.
