Division I-III will send both finalists to NorCals. Division IV-VII will only send the champion

Does anyone know why the SJS section starts their Baseball playoffs so early in the season? I believe, to date, they are the only section in CIF to be conducting playoffs now and they are already in their semifinals week.

I think their Quarterfinals and Semifinals are 3 game series?….. Maybe that’s why?…

I was thinking the same thing. But this week is semifinals and next week for SJS. But the NCS doesnt even start until next week and ends the weekend of the 30th.

Possibly... It seems their semifinal are a 3-game seires but not quarterfinals.
