Division II: Del Oro vs. Central Catholic 2:00 PM Saturday Sac State

Division III: Capital Christian vs. Placer 7:30 PM Saturday Whitney HS

Division IV: Casa Roble/Vanden vs. Rio Linda 2:00 PM Saturday Whitney HS

Division V: Colfax vs. Bear River 7:00 PM Friday Nevada Union HS

Division VI: Hilmar vs. Ripon Christian 7:00 PM Friday Turlock HS

Think I might opt to attend the D3 and D4 games out in my neck of the woods at Whitney HS — with a close eye on the 2 games at Sac State of course.

Wish they split more of the games between FRI and SAT nights. I’d love to be able to attend all 4 games from D1-D4.

As it stands, I might venture up to Grass Valley on FRI night for Colfax/BR then Whitney HS for SAT. @smashmouthrick are you up for the game at NU? I already know where you’ll be on SAT.

I assume @championcif75 will be down in Rocklin for the Placer game? If so, I’d love to meet ya bro.

Smash,i’ve been contemplating (outside the obvious,Placer vs CC) where to go who to see.I’ve seen enough of Colfax,Bear River after being in PVL for last 8-10 yrs,lol.The game should be a good one tho between these two,BR always seems to rise in the big game vs Colfax,whereas usually in league Colfax gets them.In Div1 I really have no interest as I feel Folsom is just that good and will be victorious vs anyone they face.Div 2 is going to be a physical brawl with 2 very good teams.Div2 semi between CC vs Indy my heart said Indy and they in fact could have won that game......another great season for Indy.Congrats to Coach Stark and his Tigers.Now in SJS Div 2 Championship we have one of our local teams from the Loomis Basin(lol) DEL ORO GOLDEN EAGLES vs CC......and the Champ WILL be in the Sac St house for that monster of a game(Go Eagles)and this Placer strawchewer would look forward to meeting you in person my friend......absolutely!We can agree on time and location at Sac St say wed or thurs......sound good?Look forward to it!And hey for those of you that will also be in attendance.....come on over,please!

Strikes is less than 2 mi from my house. Admittedly, I haven't been to the restaurant/bar there for a long while. How's their craft brew selection? I usually hit up Boneshakers, Vault, Infusion, or Pizza Place. But I'm good with whatever works for the group. I'm even down for tossing the pigskin in whatever parking lot we end up at.

Enjoy the games fella's! Wish I was still in the area or I would meet up with you guys at one of these sites. All of these games seem to be great matchups and the story lines this year have been of historic profoundness.

My sources tell me that the Cowboy Burgers will not be wrangled up Friday. I could be wrong, but the initial report was "no".

But...local tip. Right by Sierra Cinemas on GV Hwy is a place called Big A's. It's a burger place like an old A & W. They have bacon burgers similar to said cowboy burgers. Swing by Big A's before heading into Hooper. #goodfood
