In the South, Troy drew the short Wednesday Open straw for sure: A 300-mile slog north on Highway 5 to No.1 Clovis West. Thanks for stopping by. Say howdy on your way out the back door. Oh, and the weather is no picnic on the Grapevine outside Castaic right now. Bundle up.

For 2 bites you can water the horses in fresno but those young ladies will not be able to survive that wide over the vine and make any shots- one of the worst draws you can get at any level - Hope everybody has charged up head-phones and a pillow!

I don't know a lot about the south...
But it seems to me that TROY has gotten hosed a few times over the last few yrs.
I talked to their coach at the UCSD summer tourney 2yrs ago and he told me that they had never even won a single section but had been put in the open every year. If that's true, that's messed up IMO.

The travel issue was one reason they were talking about Clovis West in the North -- it's an easier drive for Clovis to Sacramento than Troy to Clovis.

Still wondering, though, how Bishop's got seeded ahead of Etiwanda.
