Tomorrow and Saturday at DLS and Carondelet…

Somebody spotted Kiddman watching his cougars today . What do you think this year? More of a division two team?
Cougs are very young, and besides, lone starter Peyton Beld is out with a busted finger on his right hand.
So far as the youngness goes... Cougs have three freshmen that appear to be aimed at varsity spots, two for sure. One or both could very well be starters right away.

p.s. Early tournaments for the Cougs include:
Montgomery first week of December
A tournament at Acalanes the following week, Coach Dyer says that field is tough. Can't remember who he said, tho...
The Damian Lillard Classic at Oakland HS after Xmas.
imho: I don't think there's a lot of quality at the Montgomery tourney, good chance of making the final if not winning it.

CVC pretty heavy favorite... Benicia may be next. Cougs, Northgate and maybe College Park right there in the running for 3rd.
The Cougs should be very tough the three seasons after... and will certainly be no pushover in 2026, just a young team that will struggle at times.
Of course, the top league will be the EBAL, and to me it looks like they could have a banner year in 2026. DLS is loaded, but may very well be the 3rd or 4th best team when things are said and done. Dougherty Valley and CalHi look monstrous, and Dublin always seems to have dudes. But I haven't seen Dublin yet, so who knows? SRV is still good, but how good? Monte Vista looks better than they have the last few years. Heck, even Foothill looks solid...
