See this is where the knowledge of the so called gurus falls into play. Coach Pollat is a dermatologist by trade. A very well respected Cal alum. He joined the staff this season and if you think suddenly the defense got solid you are truly special. Peter Pollat has been around the game longer than many of you have been ****ing born. He has coached the Macabee teams, most of you have probably not a clue what that is including you Jim. He is very influential at JCC and has coached basketball youth around the world from the United States to Israel and all around the world. See the problem with many of you all you do is talk shit. You don’t know what is really happening in the background. And if you know nothing about McCabee basketball then do me favor STFU and don’t respond. He is a very well to do retired and well known individual. His nephew called many games in the PAC 10 and 12 with Bill Walton and lived with his uncle Pete. Pete didn’t add an opening at Riordan and say sign up. They signed his ass up. So while you all question my HS Wizard intelligence, make sure you also understand that the Riordan program is way bigger than inside the walls of the school. Disagree with me all good, but I am all skit facts.
As for the jerk who asked if I coached at sacred heart. I didn’t. I was given an opportunity to be an off the record coach which the WCAL had limitations. I was given a state title ring thanks to a Philipino point guard who played his ass off, another young man who is the only young man to win state titles in a Berkeley and San Francisco private school back to back, and a kid that went to Lewis and Clark and of course John Tofi and Marquise Kately who played on the Soldiers with some guy named LeBron, Leon, and of course Kendrick.
Two D1 studs one a title for Archbishop Riordan and now they have 5 to 7. So this year for a seasoned veteran who has sat on the floor at Arco year after year it’s truly time to either put up or shut up. There is no more excuses. The WCAL has been a premier league, hang another banner ir continue to be like guys like Karen, oops I mean Jim and talk and talk and talk.
I give Mr Jones credit as a WCAL fan as the story is great and he raised three fantastic athletes. But banners have not taken place since then and now. And sorry CCS titles are peanuts.
