2018 C Jason Brandow (Cal State Fullerton) and 2019 P Eli Wood (Cal) have made their commitments in continuing a trend of D1 commitments from the Vintage program.

I don't understand how a sophomore (junior-to-be) in baseball can give a verbal commitment since coaches at DI schools are not allowed to verbally communicate with a student-athlete until September 1 of their junior year. Furthermore, in the case of Cal, who just lost their head coach, who can speak for staff?
