So regarding the latest Lick game. While the score makes it seem close, Stuart Hall was actually in control most of the game. What kept Lick in it was a 21-8 1st half rebounding difference in favor of Lick.
One thing I noticed about this game is these two teams were very chippy with each other. I think some of them play together in the summers on the same AAU team, but some of the things being said got personal and Johnson was apparently one of the ones getting personal.
I actually always liked Zach Johnson's game. Going through a leg injury like he did, it's great to see him back on the court. That being said, he has lost a step, he isn't nearly as fast as I felt he used to be, and it's hard for him to play his true game, when he has nothing around him to help.
SHHS and University are pretty much locked into the 1-2 seeds in their conference. The 3-4 will be MA and Lick, with MA probably being the 3 and Lick being the 4.
Hall doesn't play again until Jan 23rd, then plays 4 games in a 7 day span with games against Vanden and @University Finishing the week off.
