VC beats Wilcox

VC beat Wilcox 2-0 today to go 6-0. This was their 5th shutout in 6 games. Their pitching has been outstanding having just given up 2 runs this year. Hopefully the bats will wake up to match their pitching , and take a little pressure of the pitching staff.

VC get back into action this Saturday when they travel to Cardinal Newman.

To be fair, Jannicelli is pretty damn good (2 hitter today with 10K’s) and will stymie alot of offenses. VC will be fine.
