VC beats Wilcox

[Defense_Rules]

VC beat Wilcox 2-0 today to go 6-0. This was their 5th shutout in 6 games. Their pitching has been outstanding having just given up 2 runs this year. Hopefully the bats will wake up to match their pitching , and take a little pressure of the pitching staff.

VC get back into action this Saturday when they travel to Cardinal Newman.

As feared, the lack of offense bug came back to bite VC today, losing 1-0 to Cardinal Newman. Could see this loss coining from a mile away.

To be fair, Jannicelli is pretty damn good (2 hitter today with 10K’s) and will stymie alot of offenses. VC will be fine.

Janacelli had a rough outing last game giving up 2 runs so I figured he would bounce back against VC, which he did magnificently, kid is a Great, Battle Tested Pitcher!..,.

Still think VC is the Top in Nor Cal, their offense will pick up…. A lot of top teams seem to be struggling out of the gate to score runs….

He’ got to be one of the top 3 pitchers in Nor Cal right now…. Not sure who the others would be, because the only one I can remember is Jannacelli…. 🤣

Yeah Im gonna go out on a limb and pencil VC into the CCS finals right now. I know that takes balls in March, but I’m that confident 🤣 .
