Crystal Springs (17-2, 7-0) maintained its surprising lead in the league, topping Notre Dame Belmont 48-33 and Priory 54-38. The Gryphons continue to get offense from their defense, led by junior Jemma Lacap, who is averaging close to 14 points and 3 steals per game.

Pinewood (10-8, 6-1) will have something to say about Crystal’s title hopes when the two match up at Pinewood on Tuesday. The Panthers are a remarkable 100-2 in the WBAL since 2013, but one of those very rare losses came earlier this year to Crystal. Pinewood is clicking again, romping to consecutive 40+ point wins over Priory and Harker.

Menlo (10-8, 3-4) moved into a third-place tie with Priory by knocking off Harker and Notre Dame this week.

Ugreat Daniels continues to excel for Priory (11-8, 3-4) with a couple of recent 20+ point outings.

Notre Dame (13-5, 2-5) got a strong performance from junior Julia Oliveira-Killmon and led Crystal at the half before falling late.

Harker (7-11, 0-7) is still in search of its first league win and matches up with Notre Dame and Priory next week.

Pinewood restored a measure of order at home on Tuesday, topping Crystal 53-37. It was the Ava Uhrich show for the Panthers. She scored all 16 of the team's points in the first quarter, en route to 36 point performance. With the win, Pinewood ties Crystal atop the league at 7-1 with two games to play.

Menlo took over sole possession of third place with a convincing 56-37 victory over Priory. As usual it was Ruiqi Liu and Karen Xin leading the way for the Knights with roughly 40 points between them. Menlo is 4-4 in league with games against Crystal and Pinewood remaining.

Notre Dame celebrated its senior night and improved to 3-5 in league with a 57-50 victory over winless Harker.
