It looks like several top players will not be playing the high school season. The Santa Clara Sporting Ruckus will be playing in the NCAA Final 4 showcase in December, precluding them from eligibility per CIF/WCAL rules. Another player on the team is attending school in Florida.

This certainly changes this season.

SHC 2 Riordan 0

Sacred Heart Cathedral beat Riordan in a WCAL soccer matchup 2-0 on 12/12/2006. I thought this game wouldn't be played with all that rain.

The Irish are 1-1 in league and play Mitty next.
