We're at 115 teams right now, and of course would love to have more.

The Elite teams so far include Sierra Canyon, Mater Dei, Archbishop Mitty, Clovis North, Bishop O'Dowd, Miramonte, St. Joseph Notre Dame, Oakland Tech, Heritage, Sacred Heart Cathedral and Salesian, among the better known. Kamehameha is supposedly a strong Hawaiian team that is Elite, and Cardinal Newman has indicated they will be coming.

Platinum will likely be at College Park, across the street from DVC (which is unavailable due to a men's tournament at that time).

Las Positas was a good site from a fan's perspective, but overall, it didn't work that well for the Jamboree. It's possible we could return there down the road, though, if we can sort some things out.

The real issue is whether the school/coaches/administration want to put in the time and effort to host and raise money. Hosting the WCJ isn't necessarily difficult because the tournament takes care of the bracketing, officials, etc., but it's still a lot of time and energy over Christmas vacation.

We are set right now ... we're pretty sure. Las Lomas has said they're hosting but can't seem to sign the contract.

Of course we have to try and balance everyone's needs so we'll see how the brackets play out. But there are going to be some very good games, it appears.

Sure ... though in the past streaming companies have wanted us to pay them to come out, which we can't do.

Add Antelope to the Elite mix ...

And Las Lomas completes our lineup of sites.

We're OK with showing them, most likely, but we don't want to pay people to do the streaming.
