We need some answers Riordan

Burries is a senior. Scary thought if he was only a junior.
Not only he's a senior, I'm pretty sure he's a hold back, along with 2 other players on that team. My son's MVP Flight team used to battle his Inland Empire team with 2 other players as well as Carter Bryant, a freshman at University of Arizona back in middle school. It seems Carter is the only one from that team that remained in his original class.

Coach Curtain keeps getting farther in CIF. The R had a good chance of winning state/D1 in '20. They were just getting hot when the season was cut short due to Covid. Remember it took Salesian's Mellis a second to figure out the Open Div.

The one thing the head coach at Roosey pointed out in his post game interview was that Riordan's D broke down after 10 seconds during most possessions. He saw this on film and a few other things as well.

I agree with most on this thread that no one from Nor Cal was beating the Top 5 So Cal teams this season in the 'Ship. However, I believe Riordan could have made it a little closer with the talent they had. But I also believe it doesn't take away from a great season they had. They'll be tough again next season too.

Definitely they had a really good season. Once they won the Norcal open it put a seal of approval on it. Without the nor cal crown it was not a good season. Cuttthroat but definitive. This was a good year for talent. Norcal and State wide. The internet coaches were coming out no matter the point differential was … Talent gap between the two teams. Did not call for that wide of a score differential. Makes sense for it to be a hot topic. Passionate and Critical business .

If curtain and the purple regime can continue to attract high enc talent. He is the right guy for the job regardless of his in game ability. It’s not bad. It’s at least OK. To play on the open Bracket level . Year after year. You’ve gotta have the component that he does have. Purple reign can they go the next level ?

I heard Coach Singleton's post game interview too. Last year, Riordan's defense was ok, not good. And Jasir was exposed and Salesian completely shut him down.
This season, Riordan had one of the best defenses in NorCal and Jasir got redemption with his off-season work.
Curtin may thank Coach Singleton if they return to Golden 1 next season.
