Combination of both. Palma offense has lots of playmakers all around and Rossi at QB has matured a lot. Line is young and not big but they were okay. Palma defense is pretty quick. DBs and lbs are really good and line looked quick. Defense is better than last two seasons. Mitty made lots of mistakes and RB looked pretty good and QB was okay. WRs dropped lots of passes and line not that big. Mitty defense at times looked okay but Palma balance gave them problems. Palma has really good RBs and WRs and TE is D1 talent at 6-6 and other WR 6-4 which are matchup problems. If Palma had last seasons line I think they would be in top 3 in section. This year won’t know how good they are until like they play Aptos in two weeks who is good. Palma is probably a top 10 team in section.
San Leandro upsets newman
20-17. Newman led entire game until late in 4th. Some tough calls down the stretch but hats off to SL.

Mack 63-6. Straight dominance from the 2nd quarter!
Marin Catholic is going to take a whooping against Mack this year! Their defense as usual is big and strong…….but once again they lack any game-breakers on the outside so Mack will for the 100th time man them up in Zero coverage press them, put 8 in the box and bring the heat and MC will not be able to create separation….MC defense will keep them in the game but Mack has like 3-4 guys who with one miss of a tackle are gone with game breaking speed that MC lacks
SHC QB breaks long run and SH defender catches him and strips him before a TD and recovers on 5 yard line.
SHP Gators 28 SHC Irish 21 Final
Great game. Mistakes and one play here or there and the game could have been different. Irish had to turn over on downs at Gators 22 . SHC looks better than what I saw with Mitty. Irish has some playmakers and the Gators are disciplined.

Pretty complete game through and through by both teams. Saw a little bit of everything. Not to make excuses but its also hard to win when its 16 vs 11. Pretty blatant that the 5 refs decided not to let SH play and called every single thing. Credit to both teams with the punch, counter-punch action.
Just saw scores but yes. LG probably started subbing. Tough to say how good LG is based on game given Folsom drubbing of MT. Not sure if this team is better than last short season and last full season. Defense may be as good or better.
We will see down the road, but my first take is that MT is nowhere near the ranking they received and LG is probably a little better. Also, all the venture changes for MT to be out of their area unexpectedly probably played a role.
