Here is the final week of the Pick'em Contest. Keep an eye if games are postponed. Picks are due at 7:00 PM on Friday.

Yeah, I will keep the pick'em going. Same format with 10 games, but no prizes. Might do some fun stuff for section finals/NorCal/State

....spiring ambitions Primo, I'm just trying or hoping to stay in the gut middle of the overall pack, Pic'em's "flyover country" ...but Good Luck this week to all the front runners and front sniffers......

Yes I had Mitty as a low pick as I thought they had a slight chance at the "mild upset" of St. Ignatius. Had I known their star QB Shamir Bey was out for the game I would have had S.I. as a 9 or 10.

Thanks 101, had it been another week or so you would of had it. I got a few kind breaks this season so next year will be tough sledding I'm sure!

Santa Ball went "wire to wire" from week 5 to week 11. Very impressive showing considering he's new to Pick'em. Hats off to him for sure.

Too many losses in high-point games. Mitty cost me 10 points against Marin Catholic, so did Oakdale vs. Palma. Stinkin' Ripon cost me 9 against Hilmar, Clayton Valley cost me 9 points vs. California. North Monterey County, Calaveras and Escalon cost me a total of 23 points in Week 9. Week 10 was a disaster. Ugh.

My Won-Loss record was 76-34.

I learned the hard way but placement is key. Losing picks 6, 7, 8, 9 or 10 in a Pick'em week is a recipe for disaster. Losing picks 1-5 a few times won't kill your chances of placing in the top 3 at the end of the season. Just my thoughts on placing high in Pick'ems on a weekly basis.

Congrats to EN_FB_Alum on the weekly win. He won on the first tiebreaker in his first miss being the three point game. John Mellencamp’s first miss was a four point game.
