Oak Ridge (1-3) at Granite Bay (4-0) 7:00 PM

Coming off a bye week, Oak Ridge opened SFL play with a 28-7 win over Del Oro. Jasen Womack ran for three touchdowns, quarterback Cole Esten threw for 136 yards and ran for 69 yards and Kaleb Edwards had two sacks. Granite Bay hit the road and beat Jesuit last week 30-17 as Isaiah Ene had more than 200 total yards and two touchdowns. Darnell Turner Jr. has been a key two-way player for the Grizzlies, which hasn't allowed more than 17 points in any game this season.

Central Catholic (3-2) at Manteca (3-1) 7:00 PM

Manteca has three blowout wins over Elk Grove, Laguna Creek and Lincoln-Stockton, but dropped a home game to Marin Catholic 29-28. Sophomore running back Nikko Juarez has 640 yards and 10 touchdowns and the defense has tallied 11 sacks. Central Catholic has leaned heavier on the run in the past two wins over Bishop Manogue and Patterson with more than 300 yards in each game. The Raiders have three runners with at least 34 carries led by Joey Alcutt with 59 attempts for 600 yards and five touchdowns.

Bishop Amat (2-2) at St. Mary’s-Stockton (2-2) 7:00 PM Game of the Week

This game marks the end of the non-league for the Rams, which played teams from four different sections. Last week, The Rams held a fourth quarter lead over De La Salle before losing 38-35. They have a strong receiver core with Kenneth Moore III, Osani Gayles and Ivan Huerta. Bishop Amat was expected to have a strong offense, but were missing a couple of key skill players in last week’s loss to Rancho Cucamonga. Quarterback Frankie Villalbazo threw for 118 yards and a touchdown last week.

Quincy (3-1) at Hamilton (3-1) 7:00 PM

Quincy gave up 14 total points in its first three wins before losing to Anderson (28-20) last week. Ayden Carnes has rushed for 456 yards and three touchdowns with a season high 201 yards against Modoc. Hamilton has won three straight since dropping its opener to Berean Christian. Last week, the Braves beat Dayton (Nevada) 27-26 despite giving up more than 400 rushing yards.

Heritage (3-1) at Livermore (3-1) 7:15 PM

Heritage lost its opener to Foothill-Pleasanton (20-19), but have won three straight over Granada, Dublin and Terra Linda. Running back Mekhi Adanadus has rushed for 324 yards and seven touchdowns and five different players have caught touchdowns for the Patriots. Livermore also lost its opener (29-18 to Hillsdale), but have won three straight in scoring at least 35 points in each game. Last week against Moreau Catholic, Livermore trailed 28-21 in the fourth quarter before sending the game to overtime and winning 35-28.

West Park (5-0) at Destiny Christian (3-2) 7:15 PM

West Park has won four of its five games by one possession as quarterback Jaden Jackson has formed a strong connection with HaReal Greer and Mason Johnson, who has had big performances the past two weeks against Woodcreek and Cordova. Destiny Christian has one on field loss to Grant in a game the Lions played the Pacers tough in the league opener.. Quarterback Dallas Munn has thrown for 1,131 yards and 12 touchdowns with Greyson Smith being his top receiver.

Palma (3-1) at Salinas (2-1) 7:30 PM

Salinas started the season with a 24-7 win over Valley Christian, but took a loss to undefeated Clovis (41-14). The Cowboys have a passing attack to track with Rico Maturino and Emarrcis Turner. Salinas is 39-2 in league play dating back to the 2017 season. Palma sophomore Eli Dukes has rushed for 588 yards and five touchdowns. Fellow sophomore Isaak Hernandez has also rushed for more than 200 yards. Last year, Salinas won 34-14.

Saturday

Miramonte (3-1) at Menlo (4-0) 1:30 PM


Miramonte quarterback Carson Blair has thrown for 1,113 yards and 14 touchdowns as the Matadors have scored at least 28 points in each game. Their only loss came to undefeated Carmel (38-28). Menlo quarterback Jack Freehill has 12 touchdowns to one interception and the defense has collected nine interceptions in four games. This starts a difficult four game stretch for the Knights with Wilcox, Menlo-Atherton and Los Gatos to follow this week.

Ferndale (3-0) at St. Bernard’s (4-0) 2:00 PM

Luke Brunton and Trenten Hagler have combined to throw for 995 yards and seven touchdowns while also rushing for more than 200 yards for St. Bernard’s. The Crusaders have held three of four opponents to 14 points or less. Ferndale junior quarterback Tanner Pidgeon has rushed for 523 yards and 11 touchdowns as Ferndale has attempted just 12 passes this season. He also has three interceptions on defense.

Mitty (3-0) at Valley Christian (1-2) 6:00 PM

Mitty is giving up 10 points per game, including a shutout of Menlo-Atherton, in finishing off the non-league undefeated. Lazaro Faraj-Washington has rushed for 379 yards and four touchdowns. Kai Sniffen has three interceptions and 2.5 sacks. Valley Christian got an opening 24-7 win over Wilcox, but have scored 17 total points in losses to Salinas and Soquel. The Warriors beat Mitty 35-0 last season.
