Big match-ups this week are mostly in the Delta League where Davis, Cosumnes Oaks, and Elk Grove are all trying to secure an outright league championship. Elk Grove can lock it up with a win because of their head-to-head victory over Davis. Davis is hoping for a Cosumnes Oaks win so that next week's game will be for the league championship. A PG win against Valley probably locks them into the #11 or #12 spot of the playoffs. Beating Jesuit next week would cinch it.

Every SFL game matters for the seeding effect.

Inderkum, Turlock, and Edison are trying to remain on track for league championships.

Monterey Trail is facing another undefeated-in-league team in Laguna Creek. The winner will at least share a league championship. This is the biggest game of the year in the Metro.

St. Mary's and Lincoln need to avoid being trapped looking ahead to their week 10 match-up.
