Also, regarding Sac-Joaquin Section postseason playoff sleeper, West Campus (Division 4) has been under the radar due to their seven (7) early non-league losses, and very weak league and weak schedule strength (blowing out league opponents). Their only notable win was very early in the season (3rd game) beating McClatchy. But their schedule this year could be a strategic advantage or result in an unintentional benefit--no possible chance to be in the Open Division (and early exit), and probably won't make it to Division 1, but excellent chance to go far into the NorCal playoffs in Division 2, 3 or 4. A real sleeper team this year with little fanfare.

I heard Brookside Forfeit the game do to one player but have 10 players on the roster. That's just tell you what kind of coach they have now. No way do the make the D1 playoffs. First time in eight years Brookside will miss the playoffs.

Brookside Girls Basketball had a Reputation of being one of the best in Norcal. Now they are nothing because of coaching changes. They have been doomed since the second year when coach K won State Championship in D5. Jealous in there ranking VS the Boys of Brookside coach that's is now the AD at SMS. When kids where coming in to Brookside they would Discourage them and tell parents how hard it's going to be to transfer their kid into Brookside. I was one of them parents but didn't listen to him. That year almost the whole 8th grade mustangs was at Brookside. Just think of this team Sidney Fryer, Courtesy Clark, Loretta Kakala, JJ Spivey, Zhane Lewis, and Sasha Brown. That same year someone told on the for Practicing the same time as the high school team was a Violation. Most players after the treat of losing there Freshman eligibility year which was a big lie but scared a few away. That team with McDonald's and Clayton(SMS) would have National Championships for a few years straight. I guess some people was reward with a AD job in the end

Brookside is a great school but shouldn't give the Boy coaches any power where they can Discourage players. Some people say Brookside education is bad but how the Athletes avages SAT score 1150.

It is sad day to see greats Girls Basketball be thrown to dumpster because of jealous people.
