2014 Boras Classic

If they can improve the field in next year's Boras Classic the same way they improved it this year, it will soon become the preeminent HS aged baseball tournament on the West Coast, if it hasn't already.

This year in the north, only Rio Americano, Christian Brothers, Foothill, and Stockdale couldn't be considered among the top teams in the area, and they aren't that bad. We got to play De La Salle, St Francis, Davis, and Buchanan, and I can tell you no one could be more proud of going 3-1 against those monsters in 4 days!

Rob Rinaldi has always done a great job. His kids play hard and know the game. Love watching them play.

Great field overall. Very strong showing for PG. Still think they are the best team in the Sacramento area when its all said and done.

Also congrats to Elk Grove for winning the North. Back to back appearances in the North finals.

Overall I thought that PG was the best team in the tournament. They are clearly a very solid, well coached and hard nosed team.Their LHP that threw against St. Francis was very good. Only a few untimely mistakes and lucky bounces for SF made the difference in their only loss.
