Week 0 El Cerrito Home

Week 1 Palma Away

Week 2 Elmira, Or. Autzen Stadium, Oregon

Week 3 Bye

Week 4 Ripon Away

Week 5 Bear River Away

BVL league play weeks 6 through 10

JV Schedule had to be tweaked when DLS refused to travel to Sutter week 2 and do double header with the frosh and JVs. Sutter frosh traveled to DLS last year

Sutter JVs have now scheduled Capital Christian Week 3 and will have bye week on week 2

Sutter will be road warriors to say the least with some very lengthy trips next season. 4 out of the 5 pre league games are on the road. It had to be done to get this good schedule. Obviously it will pay off in the 2016 season with the 2 year contracts.
Gone from Sutters schedule from a year ago are Justin Sienna, Novato and Ukiah whom all opted out. Justin Sienna was a head scratcher because when they would not renew they posted a game wanted and requested a D3 school to play. Sutter is a D 3 school. Although the JV and the varsity games were not very competitive the last 2 seasons with them.

Farmair3......This is a bold schedule and calling them road warriors pretty well sumes it up...there toughest test will no doubt be against Palma....This would be a game worth watching to see how they do..i saw the Sutter/Campolindo game and I've seen the Alhambra/Palma game several years ago and you can bet that the support will be strong even on the long traveling trips.
At the Sutter/Campolindo game, the Sutter stands we full in no time which makes a lot of schools support in our area look shabby.

Wow. That is a road warrior schedule. I am looking forward to the game in Salinas. Will be Palma's first game of the season but they have alot coming back from last season and the group seems to be working hard as far as lifting and conditioning and speed. Offense should be very good. Defense will need to reload some key positions but should be very good (will have alot of work to get up to last years defense though). Surprised the game is on a Friday night and not Saturday. Palma's home field (Rabobank Stadium, a city field) is very nice. The concessions on the home field side is recommended - where the Tritip barbecue is located. Will be interesting as far as JV game. Last year's frosh was a little undersized but played some very good teams tough, The games the next two years as far as varsity should be against good Palma teams. Next years juniors have lots of speed. This years soph class probably a top 3 or 4 (could be #2) in CCS as far as track and they play football. Bellarmine probably has top underclass as far as track.

Great input guys!!! We know very little about Palma except they are always good!!! Sutter will be young but will be fielding 2 JV teams that went a combined 19-1 the last 2 seasons. Doesn't always equate but gives you a barometer. We lost a ton to graduation this season. Sutter has always been a step ahead especially early on because of summer camps. Not having them this season will be an even bigger test. Sutter is set up very well for the next few years however. They will have a very strong JV team next season and a full frosh squad. 2 more months til spring ball. The countdown begins. Very excited about the schedule. Bluedog, Sutter does travel extremely well however that Campo game was off the hook even for us. Lots of friends from the Yuba City area attended also lots of people from our section in general. Wish we could have sustained the energy from that 1st quarter but Campo was a very confident group and obviously getting down did not bother them. I have had numerous e mail conversations with Coach Lacy since that game and I am a new true fan of his. He had a very special group. The QB and their fullback/LB(25) were absolutely studs that night. We just could not stop them all.

Next year's Palma seniors lost 1 game as freshmen (Serra-San Mateo) and went undefeated as JV (a couple were up on varsity). Juniors went undefeated as frosh (may have been top frosh class in CCS among VC, Serra and St Francis) but lost a game as sophs on JV (a decent North Salinas team, but QB broke hand and backup also was injured) with top player starting on varsity.

Key players on Palma will be: Jack Richardson, Sr., QB, 6-4, 200, 1,947 yards passing, 19TDs - interest from several D1 programs (Pac12 and outside); Emilio Martinez, Jr, RB, 5-9, 180, 1501 yards and 24 TDs (21 rushing) was out half of their games by half and good shot at breaking most RB records at Palma by time he is done; Liam McMillin, Sr, TE/DE, 6-3, 215, athletic TE; Zach Ralston, Sr, 6-4, 255, OT/DT; Drew Dahlman, Jr, C/OG/DT, 6-3, 240 (son of former 49er center, Stanford and Atlanta Falcons OL coach and current Palma OL coach); and Zach Barry, Sr, 6-0, 200, MLB (3 year starter).
