Ugly game so far... Refs seem to ave taken this one off, too. 16-all. 5:03 left in the half.
 
Malik Jakson fouled, scores one FT for Dublin, but they trail 20-17... roy drives and scores, tho... 20-19. 2:31 left, and he’s fouled... 1 and 1, sinks first.. and second to take lead 21-20. But MC scores inside... and Dublin scores on a putback... 3 for M Pearson of MC... Steal by MC, but a dunk attempt is denied at the rim! Foul on rebound... MC makes 2 FT’s. 26-23 MC.

Jalen Lewis is quite the player...remember the NBA is probably letting high schoolers back in starting in 2022. Lewis could be a 1st round pick out of O’Dowd(or Prep School) in the 2023 NBA Draft. It’s not out of the realm of possibility.

He’s a nice player, especially for a freshman, but that last shot aside he didn’t look near ready to be talked about in those terms tonight. Give him a few years and let’s see how he progresses. Nice comeback win for the Dragons tonight.

he was playing versus players he might dominate one day... last night though he didnt do enough damage down low as someone with his frame should. Jackson at St V St P was this size as a freshman and people on here say he hasnt got much better... You gotta go into it thinking ima do work in the paint and nobody gonna stop me.
that last play was coaching at its finest... everyone thought #3 or #5 was going to get that last shot. Great play call and moment for #24. Confidence is KEY for ball players and that could be the one he needs. If they avoid the open it could be ring season.

I remember seeing Jackson play against Lick as a freshman. I walked into that gym thinking Jackson was going to be special. I think injuries have gotten in the way of that, but I have to agree. Not much has changed for Jackson from freshman to senior years. At O'Dowd, I think Lewis will get a lot better coaching and he is only scratching the surface of his potential.

Lewis could have the same path that Paolo Banchero has....one of the top ranked juniors from Seattle.
