It’s simple math, they got 10 x more people in LA so they will have more talent.
So Cal also seems to allow a more physical game in high school. Not nearly as many calls when the physical contact doesn't give an advantage one way or another.

You are both right. It starts with population and demographics however. SCAL is a country in itself. Always has been.
