Don’t be fooled by Tech’s not-so-pretty record…. They have played a very tough slate, with competitive losses to powers such as Salesian, Dublin, and Dougherty Valley.

Lots of empty possessions to start, but finally O’Reilly with a putback score, followed by a steal and a Mansour score…. Now Tech is on the board…. 4-2.

Tech ties it up, 5:19 left…. but O’Reillly nails a 3! 7-4 Cougs.

Shooting has been unpretty thus far for both sides…. but Robeson nails a short J to make it 9-4.

Finally, after four tries underneath, Staples scores for Tech…. 47-35, and they steal, Mansour fouls to stop a layup…. FT’s both good, 47-37…. 6-0 Tech run.

Mansour 3 bounces out, Tech loses it back to him, he lays it up.

Staples scores inside…. 49-39.

O’Reilly fouled, 1 and 1…Makes 2. 56-47, Tech with a couple tries before Naffziger grabs a rebound, is hacked…. misses front end, Muhammad gets a 3 swatted by O’Reilly, gets it back and fires an airball…. Cougs win 56-47.
