Sorry but NCS D1 is a farce. Pitt already lost their “playoff” game. Great season for them, but it’s over.

This do over stuff is a slap in the face to anyone who has actually competed to win anything in life. It’s sad where we have gone to declare everyone a champion.

I agree, the CCS is the worst. You have B league losers going on to bowl games at the expense of solid small school publics.

This entire thing is a joke. High school football looks more like peewee league football.

All blowouts!?

D1 college looks no better, football looks to be on the decline big time.

What about NCS D3 and below? None of those teams could come within 40 of any of the SJS powers. Why even have that!? I guess so the teams north of the bridge can have a "champion?" :)

Hahahah. And my newman Team who is down this year just beat Acalanes. The NCS has plenty of good teams scattered across a lot of divisions.
Newman’s losses were all against top teams. Al were competitive except 1. Good schedule, they don’t look really down, they look like they lost close games vs tough teams.

Newman is way down from the day. Cronin would have this team in way better shape. He would not have an OL playing QB for sure. CN is fading fast.

So I've been out of the Cali football scene for about 2 years now since I moved to Texas, but thought I'd come visit to see what it new. I can see based on this comment, not much, considering the CIF is still allowing losers to still play on. It's so much nicer to follow football in a state where they actually play in real state playoff brackets. Anyways my heart will always be with Cali football so it breaks my heart to see they aren't trying to improve the current system they have.
