Agree with @colhenrylives, the top 4 WCAL Teams are locks for the CCS Open. Currently, here's where they sit with 3 games remaining along with the non-WCAL school possibilities and WCAL teams still in the hunt. NOTE: There is not a WCAL Tournament like the EBAL has. WCAL has home and home series and the team(s) with the best record is declared WCAL champion.

Rather telling that huge Santa Clara County does not have a single public school program worthy of the Open. The glory days of Jim Loscutoff, Dennis Awtrey, the Ogden Brothers and the rest of a sterling generation of hoopsters are long gone.

Mitty and Riordan most likely will do battle for round 3 in the CCS Championship. Curious as to how SI is 3rd and Serra is 5th when Serra beat them twice in league.
I just went with WCAL records, as SHC, Serra and SI sit at 7-7. It's now in the hands of the CCS seeding committee. Agree. Serra should be the higher seed of the three. Correct me if I'm wrong, but will the #1 seed in the Open be determined by a coin flip between Mitty and Riordan?
I see what you did there LOL. you gave credit to them both as Co-Champs but with some obvious bias listed Riordan as #1 in the standings. Nice.... I know you couldnt help yourself.
This is what I want. I want Curtin and Kennedy to meet and agree to a winner take all should they face each other in Open final. Winner takes CCS Open crown AND WCAL crown. NO SHARED TITLES!
WCAL POY I think will come down to between Sangster (Mitty) or Pettis (Serra). I think a darkhorse candidate would be Woodson (Riordan). Yes I would consider Woodson over Rencher.
Sangster. There could be 3 freshman on the 1st team - SI's Hutcherson and Whitley and RIordan's Hilman.
