Who wins for 3rd place? How far will they go into the Playoffs? Will they Upset or Not since they took 3rd Place. What kind of Offense does Vintage run now? Last Year they were running the Wing T under Hoffman?

Will get interesting to see if Vintage can hang with Napa, streaks are made to be broken as we saw Vacaville fall to Wood last season. I'm not sure when is the last time Napa lost to Vintage in that town rivalry.

Vintage was down by 10 in the 4th, wood went for it twice on 4th down on or around their own 20 and failed both times. Wood coaches lost the game for them, give vintage credit for making them pay and going for 2 with 5 seconds left for the win.

Napa is on a 10 game streak in this series. Napa has clinched at least a tie for the League title. Vintage can clinch a share of the League Championship and a playoff date with a Victory. According to the tie breaker formula, Vacaville is at +2 (defeated Vintage by 9, lost to Napa by 7) Napa is sitting with +7 (defeated Vacaville by 7) and Vintage is sitting at -9 (defeated by Vacaville by 9) Vintage would need to defeat Napa by 12 to get the #1 seed for playoffs. Vintage would need to win by 8-11 to take the #2 seed. Napa still controls its own destiny, and dismantled Wood a few weeks ago 42-6. Napa played Armijo tonight and won 54-12. Vintage played Armijo last week and won 21-0.

Wood is likely out of the playoffs now, but could still get in at 5-5 (not likely considering their opponent win total). I don't see Wood pulling the upset of Vacaville.

The Indians have a lot to play for. They don't want to share an MEL title. They don't want to lose their rivalry game. They want to host in the first round of the playoffs. Things are never to be taken for granted in high school football.
