After an interesting first half that saw Woodcreek score the game’s first 12 points, the Timberwolves led Folsom 23-16 at halftime with Jordan Brown playing just four minutes. Following intermission, Woodcreek used a 14-2 run to blow the game open for a 69-34 win over the Bulldogs.

Woodcreek had a game high 22 points (21 in the second half). Jackson Hughes had 16 and Tyrell Roberts had 15 points after carrying the offense in the first half. The Timberwolves outscored Folsom 16-4 in fast break points and 12-0 from the three point line, including three makes from Roberts.

Folsom, who was playing without Top 40 junior Jayce McCain, got 12 points from junior Mason Forbes and 11 from junior Martis Johnson.

Woodcreek: There isn’t a dominant team in Northern California this year, but Woodcreek is on the short list of top teams. They have an elite big in Brown, two solid senior guards and an x-factor of sorts in Chris Cagle. Woodcreek can score in multiple ways and pressure teams into mistakes with their length and versatility.

Folsom: The Bulldogs are down this year and it didn’t help having McCain down on Friday. Forbes is expanding his offensive game, but Folsom lacks some shooting and an ability to create quick offense. They defended well until giving up 25 points in the final quarter.

Was watching the feed on BAOSN and didn't see any major colleges there
