JV team needed Feb. 1 and 8

We need one more JV team to participate in our end-of-season, two-game tournament, Feb. 1 and 8.

We have 11 teams now, and the goal is to have three four-team brackets that will play Feb. 1 and 8 at Carondelet. The 12 teams will be seeded by the participating coaches into the three brackets, with the top four teams in one bracket, and so on.

If you can only play one of the dates, we might make that work.

Plus, if you believe this started with out-of-district transfers you’re mistaken. I can assure you this started with the school robbing the 5 other district high schools of their talent. Those schools are a combined 13-32 going into week 11, you don’t believe for a second that every school in the district organically gets dogshit talent but somehow El Cerrito can only lose to a program with a Disney movie, right?

EC and Kennedy Richmond basically have always shared the same talent pool. But EC has always had a stable program, while Kennedy has gone to dog shit years ago. Absolutely agree about EC getting the talent at other neighboring schools expense.
